This collaboration aims to deploy cutting-edge automation technologies across sectors such as automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, and industrial logistics.
In an official statement, the strategic Indo-German partnership is focused on civilian industry and manufacturing, with an emphasis on co-developing and offering customised solutions.
The two companies plan to tap into Bharat Forge’s domain expertise and Agile Robots’ advanced robotics capabilities to serve markets in India and Southeast Asia.

The MoU outlines plans to establish joint capabilities and develop state-of-the-art vision and AI-based robotics solutions, with an eventual goal of enabling fully autonomous, or “dark,” factories.
This move is aligned with broader global trends toward industrial automation and reflects Bharat Forge’s increasing focus on advanced technology in manufacturing.Commenting on the collaboration, Amit Kalyani, Vice Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Bharat Forge, said, “This strategic Collaboration with Agile Robots is a reinforcement of Bharat Forge’s ambition to provide state-of-the-artintelligent robotic and automation solutions across multiple industries while driving manufacturing efficiencies at home. On Thursday, the shares of Bharat Forge closed 2% lower at Rs 1,453.45 on the BSE.
