Synopsis
Last week, the combined market cap of just 10 stocks from the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem fell by $1 trillion. If that is happening in the US markets, where 70% of the current bull phase is led by AI stocks, then it is bound to impact global markets, including India. So what should traders and investors do? For investors, the question is: Should they buy when the decline happens? The answer: Yes, if it is a good business, great management, and the valuation is reasonable. Traders will need to do something different: Change their basic approach.
Let’s start with an assumption. When the stock markets open for trade on Monday, both the Nifty and Sensex will fall sharply. It is just an assumption. We will get into the probability part later.
