In the largecap segment, 15 companies witnessed significant block deals on the screen worth Rs 5,077 crore, led by Interglobe Aviation (IndiGo) with 4 block counts totalling Rs 1,351 crore. The next in line were Infosys (Rs 786 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs 402 crore), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS, 398 crore), Reliance Industries (RIL, Rs 390 crore), TVS Motor Company (Rs 294 crore) and Cholamandalam Investment & Finance (Rs 255 crore).
Others were, namely Trent, Britannia Industries, Mankind Pharma, HCL Technologies, ABB India, Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL), Asian Paints and UltraTech Cement with block deals between Rs 227 crore and Rs 106 crore.

In the midcap segment, a dozen companies witnessed prominent block deals on the screen worth Rs 1,567 crore. The leader from the pack was Sundaram Fasteners with the deal size amounting to Rs 434 crore followed by Sundaram Finance (Rs 180 crore), Voltas (Rs 152 crore) and Muthoot FInance (Rs 139 crore). The others were Jindal Stainless, Thermax, Oracle Financial Services, Indian Hotels Company, APL Apollo Tubes, Phoenix Mills, SKF India and Devyani International which saw deals between Rs 136 crore and 55 crore.

As for the smallcap stocks, block deals worth Rs 1,720 crore were struck in 12 companies. The number one spot went to Electronics Mart (Rs 724 crore) followed by Suzlon Energy (Rs 207 crore) and Ashapura Minechem (Rs 118 crore). The others were Prudent Corporate Advisory, Saregama India, ERIS Lifesciences, Manappuram Finance, Brigade Enterprises, Cello World, Chemplast Sanmar, Aditya AMC and Craftsman Automation which saw deals between Rs 92 crore and 2 crore.

Nuvama also reported prominent bulk, block and insider deals in nine stocks with details of buyers and sellers. Among them were Sundaram where TVS Sundram Fasteners sold shares worth Rs 434 crore while SBI Mutual Fund and Nippon India MF were buyers at Rs 461 crore and Rs 144 crore, respectively.
In Brainbees Solutions, which operates FirstCry brand, Nomura India Investment Fund and Tntbc As The Trustee Of Nomura India stock bought shares worth Rs 330 crore and Rs 22 crore, respectively.
Nexus Select, Ashapura Minechem, Saregama, RattanIndia Enterprises, Marsons, Prataap Snacks and Kiri Industries saw prominent bulk, block and insider deals with details of buyers and sellers. .
