Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals and Granules India have moved out of the ban.
The Future & Options contracts of any stock enter the ban period when the open interest (OI) on it crosses 95% of the market wide positions limits or MWPL. The ban on it is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.
Traders who trade in index do not encounter a situation of security ban.
For Aditya Birla Capital, the MWPL stood at 84.8% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 76.4 million. It was down 0.8% from the previous session.The MWPL for ABFRL stood at 94.2% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 43.9 million. It was down 1.9% from the previous session.The MWPL for Bandhan Bank stood at 96.9% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 100.2 million. It was down by 2.7% from the previous session. For Biocon, the MWPL stood at 98.9% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 45.4 million. It was down 3.7% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Birlasoft stood at 86.1% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 10.8 million. It was down 0.6% from the previous session.
For GNFC, the MWPL stood at 80.2% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 6.9 million. It was down 0.4% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Granules India stood at 97.7% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 8.8 million. It was up 4.5% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Hindustan Copper stood at 85% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 32.1 million. It was down by 2.6% from the previous session.
MWPL for India Cements stood at 140.6% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 21.9 million. It was down by 1% from the previous session.
For Indiamart Intermesh, the MWPL stood at 90.9% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 1.6 million. It was down 0.9% from the previous session.
The MWPL for LIC Housing stood at 97.3% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 30.6 million. It was down by 0.7% from the previous session.
The MWPL for Manappuram Finance stood at 95.3% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 70.1 million. It was down 1.7% from the previous session.
The MWPL for PNB stood at 89.6% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 261.1 million. It was up 4.1% from the previous session.
The MWPL for RBL Bank stood at 86.6% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 68.3 million. It was down 0.4% from the previous session.
The MWPL for SAIL stood at 104.7% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 132.1 million. It was up by 5.6% from the previous session.
Positive US jobless claims data eased the fears of recession and provided a favourable broader market reaction as the Indian headline indices Nifty and Sensex opened higher today. The session witnessed some profit booking as the indices slipped below the dayβs high, however, managed to close above Fridayβs high.
The Nifty50 as well as the BSE S&P Sensex today closed 1% higher. The former closed 250.50 points higher at 24,367.50 while the latter closed at 79,706, which was higher by 819.70 points.
