Among the four brokerages, Prabhudas is the only one to have estimated a climbdown in the company’s adjusted PAT.In the April-June quarter, brokerages have highlighted muted growth in its DTH business, flattish ARPU (average revenue per user) and depreciation in Naira to be headwinds in Airtel’s quarterly performance. The sector growth rate is set to accelerate from 2QFY25 as companies announced tariff hikes in the last week of June.Prabhudas Lilladher has pegged Airtel’s adjusted PAT at Rs 3,647 crore for, which it said is expected to go down by 3.6% on a YoY basis while marginally gaining on the QoQ basis at 0.4%.
“We have factored in net subscriber addition of 4 million and ARPU [average revenue per user] of Rs 210 in Q1. Africa, enterprise and home services will show steady growth ahead, while DTH business will be muted,” the brokerage said.
